I've never done it before, and will never do it again. I cursed myself, fought with my conscience, but had to give in ultimately. I have given the Class Xth Boards, I've given other exams in which I was forced to cram in spite of all resistance, but I never ever went to this extent.

What troubles me more is that I have only 6 days to read this book, which means
340/6 = Rs. 56.67 per day!
I remember the time when I used to laugh at the 'other' guys at school, and make them feel inferior by never ever opening a refresher book for the exams, and still scoring way better than them. Those guys would go crazy buying tons of extra books - grabbing one chpater from there, another from a guide, sample papers, mock papers, model test papers.....
But alas! CBSE forces you to kill every ounce of the little self-respect you have left after two years of almost lethal 'education'.
